Casale Marittimo is easily reached from SGC No.1 "Aurelia" by taking the LA CALIFORNIA exit if coming from the south, or the CECINA exit if coming from the north. It is only 10 km from the sea, and is situated at the centre of an area rich in medieval villages, nature reserves, areas of archaeological interest, well-equipped beaches and vineyards which produce world-famous DOC wines.
